The dual energy Rapiscan 527 is designed for customers requiring inspections of checked baggage and small cargo. Dual energy imaging provides automatic color coding of materials with different atomic numbers so that screeners can easily identify objects within the parcel.

The Rapiscan 527 can be used as a standalone device or integrated into an existing baggage conveyor system.

The Rapiscan 527 has a tunnel opening of 1,000mm (39.4 inches) x 1,000mm (39.4 inches), large size packages can be quickly and easily scanned.
